International Day of the Girl Child 2023 is themed Invest in Girls Right, Our Leadership, Our Well-being”. The IHF Team marked this day in the Junior secondary school of the Shere community, Bwari Area Council Abuja.

Over 200 girls were empowered and oriented on their rights as girl children. They were also exposed to emergency contacts of agencies they could reach out to as regards the subject. Exercise books were also shared with them by the team as symbols of their significance and role in education.
